I am so glad I joined your Summer Intensive emails! For too long I just postponed working on my French, but when I joined the Summer Intensive, I got the inspiration back.

I have learned incredibly many words in a short time, and I was able to use many of them when we got a visit from a French couple during Summer, who did not speak English. For the first time I actually communicated with people in French. That was fun!

Getting daily assignments like this is an effective way of learning the language. The tasks are short, but intensive, and it didn't take long before I noticed it was easier to remember sentence structure and new words. It is something I look forward to doing, and if I don't get time one day,  I do more activities the next day. I look forward to the rest!
